DESCRIPTION: This drawing is based off of Hyperion, the Greek Titan-God of Light. The sickle on the left is the one that Kronos, the King of the Titans, used to castrate Ouranos, the father of Hyperion, Kronos, and three more brothers (Koios, Lapetos, and Krios). The brothers took part in this conspiracy against their father, restraining him while Kronos carries out the act. The trident on the right is the one that Poseidon, the God of the Sea, who defeated Hyperion and resulted in his banishment into Tartarus until Zeus eventually freed him along with the other prisoners.
