The eight-pointed star on the left-most character's forehead is the Native American symbol that represents hope. The circle and rectangle inscribed within the triangle in the middle is an alchemy symbol that represents the fundamental elements of performing transmutations, and the pentagram in the right figure symbolizes evil.
